Why you should join the ERA-ENVHEALTH project

 

     

    Why join ERA-ENVHEALTH

    The ERA-ENVHEALTH project started on the 1st of September, 2008 and is currently in full development. The project brings together 16 partners from 10 countries focusing on Environment and Health (E&H) research.
     
    If your organisation funds and/or manages an research programme on Environment and Health you have the opportunity to join the project. Why ?
    - To extend your network.
    - To take profit of sharing information and exchanging expertise with the partners of the ERA-ENVHEALTH consortium.
    - To take part in the ERA-ENVHEALTH aim of improving collaboration in E&H research and participating in joint activities.  
     
    The recruitement of new partners and participants is paramount to achieve the objectives of ERA-ENVHEALTH and to build the cooperation in E&H, stimulate E&H research and contribute to the development of coherent E&H policies.  
     
    In order to ensure the success of the project an External Advisory Committee (EAC) has been created bringing together senior scientist, policy makers and representatives from stakeholder organisations. The EAC members will inform their own networks about the progress of ERA-ENVHEALTH and advise the General Assembly of opportunities to make ERA-ENVHEALTH’s progress and achievements known.
     
    Interested members of organisations are also welcome intuitu personae and are invited to join an “External Interest Group” (EIG). The members of this EIG will be kept informed of the advancement of the project and may, depending on the circumstances, be invited according to interest and availability to different ERA-ENVHEALTH meetings or workshops.
